From September 12th to 22nd, Oahsis Consulting had the pleasure to organize together with India Travel Pundits a fascinating Fam Trip to South India. During ten days, we discovered some of the most emblematic destinations in the states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, combining history, culture and nature, with stays in the most exclusive accommodations in the region.
Discovering new worlds
From the vibrant and culturally rich Chennai to the quiet shores of Marari, our group had the opportunity to experience the best that South India has to offer. We visited iconic destinations such as Mahabalipuram, with its impressive architectural heritage, and the colonial city of Pondicherry, famous for its bustling street life and French heritage.
The experience included visits to ancestral temples, strolls through local markets and encounters with local crafts. In addition, spectacular natural landscapes were explored, such as the Periyar nature sanctuary, or the peaceful backwaters of Kumarakom, where we enjoyed a delightful sunset canoe ride.
Accommodation and gastronomy
Throughout the trip, the agents stayed at a carefully selected range of resorts and boutique hotels, all offering a personalized and authentic experience. From the rustic luxury of the Spice Village in Periyar, surrounded by nature, to the coastal charm of the Taj Fisherman’s Cove hotel, the accommodations combined modern comfort with a deep respect for the local environment and culture.
Also gastronomy was another major focus of the trip, with the opportunity to taste traditional southern dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and local spices, in settings that reflected the cultural richness of each destination.
This tour of southern India was a perfect demonstration of how to combine culture, nature and authenticity to offer clients unforgettable experiences. A unique vision of a destination that is increasingly attracting luxury travelers.
In this fantastic adventure we were able to see the true essence of the country, and see that with its serene corners, centuries-old temples and subtle luxury, the southern zone is a jewel to be discovered.
