New visa requirements for traveling to Namibia 🐘

 

As of April 1, 2025, a visa will be required to be able to access.

Traveling to Namibia between January and June offers an unparalleled experience. During these months, the weather is cooler and more pleasant, the vegetation is lower, making it easier to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Visa application options

Online: Through eservices.mhaiss.gov.na (recommended to expedite the process).

At the airport or border: Only at authorized entry points.

At Namibian embassies or consulates.

 

Visa fees

NAD 1,600 (approx. 82€) – Non-resident nationals

NAD 1,200 (approx. 62€) – Citizens residing in African countries.

Costs are subject to annual review.

 

Necessary documents

Passport with at least 6 months validity and 3 blank pages.

Completed application form.

Invitation letter (if required).

Proof of accommodation and travel plan.

Bank statement with proof of funds.

Medical and travel insurance.

Birth certificate or letter of parental consent (if traveling with minors).

 

Authorized visa entry points upon arrival

Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay, and several land border posts.
